About NovamediaNo keys in the app
Your store's access keys never go into the app. They're stored encrypted and only used on our servers.
Payments stay with your store
Customers pay in your store's own checkout. We never see or store card details.
Changes no one can forge
The design and content the app loads are digitally signed, so no one can alter them on the way to your customers.
Protected sign-in
Passwords are never stored in readable form, and sign-in is protected against guessing.
Verified customers
Every account's national ID (kennitala) is verified against the Icelandic registers, and each user's access is tied to their role.
Data in the EEA
The database is hosted in the European Economic Area and all traffic uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Technical details
- Store credentials, webhook secrets and App Store Connect / Google Play keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM (a separate data key per record, with key rotation).
- App configuration is signed with Ed25519; the app rejects unsigned or modified configuration.
- Passwords are stored with salted scrypt; reset and sign-in links are single-use and expire.
- WooCommerce REST keys are never used; the connection runs through a dedicated plugin with a secret only the server knows.
- PostgreSQL database in Ireland, all traffic over HTTPS, and every action is tied to the user's role within their organisation.
We don't claim certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

FAQ
Questions
Do I need Apple and Google developer accounts?
Yes. Apps are published from your own Apple Developer Program and Google Play Console accounts. We guide you through setting them up. Their fees are paid directly to Apple and Google and are not part of our pricing.
How long does it take to get into the stores?
Once your store is connected and the design is ready, the build takes less than a day. Review times are set by Apple and Google and vary. We can't guarantee approval or timing, but we prepare the submission carefully and handle any feedback.
Do I need to release an update for every change?
No. Design, home screen content, navigation and most settings are delivered as configuration. Changes to the app itself, such as a new app icon, require a new build, which we prepare for you.
Will it work with my plugins and theme?
The compatibility check reviews your store before you pay. Most standard WooCommerce and Shopify setups work directly; unusual checkout or product plugins are flagged for review.
What happens if I cancel?
Your subscription runs until the end of the paid period. After that the app keeps working for 14 days. Then it shows customers a message that it's temporarily unavailable; it stays in the App Store and Google Play under your account. Your settings are kept and you can reactivate at any time.
Do you handle payments?
No, on purpose. Customers pay in your store's existing checkout, so your payment provider, contracts and settlements stay the same. We never store card details.
